Max is a handsome black and white male cat who is around two-years-old.

He was found at a property by the landlord after his previous owner had moved house and left him behind.

He was taken to the RSPCA Animal Hospital in Salford where he was blood tested, flea and worm treated, microchipped, neutered and has started his vaccinations.

Max has been described by the foster carer looking after him as a sweet and pleasant boy.

He does not like being in the cattery at all and is very vocal craving for attention.

He really does love his food and would eat all day if the cattery staff let him. He is litter trained and will need plenty of grooming to bring out his lovely coat.

Zena is a big, beautiful black female cat who is around two-years-old.

Poor Zena had been a stray cat for a long time with badly matted fur, especially around her neck. She must have been in a lot of pain as this was pulling on her skin.

She was picked up by an RSPCA inspector and taken to the Greater Manchester Animal Hospital in Salford where she was blood tested for feline Aids and leukaemia, flea and wormed, microchipped and has started her vaccinations.

She has also now been clipped so she is feeling much better. Unfortunately an owner could not be traced so Zena is now in Bolton RSPCA care.

As Zena had been living as a stray she was struggling to adjust when she first went into the cattery. She was very frightened and confused. She has been in our care for almost four weeks and is now a loving and affectionate cat.

As the cattery staff have gained her trust slowly over time they have been able to handle her more and more.

She will now allow them to groom her and her coat is looking much better. She will need regular grooming in a new home to show off that lovely coat! She is a good eater and is litter trained.

Smokey is a little pretty female black cat who is around two-years-old.

She was signed over to the RSPCA over concerns for her welfare. She was taken to the RSPCA Animal Hospital in Salford where she was blood tested, flea and worm treated, microchipped, neutered and has started her vaccinations.

Smokey was very scared when she first came into our care. She needed lots of tender, loving care and patience for her to settle down but she has slowly began to trust her foster carer and is fine now.

She is very affectionate and would make a lovely family pet for someone who is looking for some company although she would need a home with no other cats, dogs or young children. She is a good eater and is very clean.
