Retail chain JJB Sports said today it will shut 72 stores by the end of the month as it looks to recover from a sharp drop in profits.
JJB, which has more than 400 outlets, began implementing the closure plan earlier this year after a review of the business by new management.
It said the stores in question were unlikely to make any "significant contribution" to group profits and that many were already close to newer and larger stores in its estate.
The moves were announced as JJB said adjusted profits fell 28% to £33.8 million in the year to January 27. A £25 million hit relating to the cost of closing the stores meant bottom-line profits fell 72% to £10.8 million.

Was it not JJB who was done for price fixing on football shirts aswell so maybe everything else they sell being end of line and last years stock is over priced too and people have noticed this with the opening of the other shops.

I think the problem is more of a culture clash than a race issue. For example, Chinese, Australian, Indians just to take a few come from a culture that is more similar to ours, they come here and are welcomed and adapt to our way of life.
Now other cultures clash with our way of life and this is what is causing the problem.
We are all one race, a Human race.
All i know is this country is changing and I don't feel the same as I used to.

Fair enough Andy, unfortunately the BN don't let us comment on any stories about race or immigration so everyone vents their views on other topics. Perhaps if the BN allowed us to do so on the right topics people could avoid them.
