CHARTOPPER Olly Murs is heading up to the North west this summer for a day at the paddocks.
The Troublemaker star is the first headliner announced for the The Jockey Club Live and Haydock Park Racecourse 2017 summer season.
Since Olly shot to fame on X Factor in 2009, he has had four multi-platinum albums and four number one singles
His latest studio album 24 HRS was released at the end of last year and became his fourth consecutive LP to reach the top spot on the UK charts.
Olly said: "I'm really looking forward to playing Haydock Park Racecourse next summer, it'll be one of the first chances I'll get to play tracks from 24 HRS in the sunshine so will be a special show to share with my fans.
"I love a day out at the races too so can't wait to get in the crowd during the day to place a cheeky bet."
The racecourse near Leigh is hosting a series of open air concerts this summer, with Olly performing on August 11.
