A BOLTON bar is offering to wash down the festival foods with a serving of jazz this weekend.
The Jazz at Harvey's event is set to continue on Sunday after a one month hiatus with the return of Cuba Vida.
Described as "Harvey’s liveliest band of 2017" the Cuban and Latin band are run by pianist composer and singer Jesus Moreau Batallan, Enrico Marchesi on Flugelhorn and Pete Williams on percussion.
The monthly summer programme of Jazz is organised by Bolton's Live From Worktown arts group.
Organiser Dave Morgan said: "Cuba Vida's exciting fusion of salsa, bossanova and latin jazz drew a capacity crowd earlier in the year so it seemed a great idea to bring them back to celebrate Bolton's legendary Food and Drink Festival.
"They will definitely bring a ray of sunshine to Bolton and put a smile on people's faces whatever the weather."
Doors open at Harvey's Cafe Bar, in Mawdsley Street, at 7.30pm, with music starting at 8.15pm. Tickets are limited to 70 and cost £6 in advance or £8 on the door. to book visit livefromworktown.org and for more information contact enquiries@live fromworktown.org.
