BLUR’S first Manchester show in six years is just around the corner — and we have five pairs of tickets up for grabs.
The legendary Britpop band will play the MEN Arena on June 26, with support from Klaxons and Florence and The Machine.
It will be the first time guitarist Graham Coxon has played in Manchester with the band since 1997.
Blur have just announced that they will be releasing a new compilation album, Midlife: A Beginner’s Guide To Blur featuring songs from their back catalogue plus the single Popscene, which has never appeared on an album.
They will also be playing Glastonbury alongside Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young.
Klaxons are set to release their new album this year, while Florence and the Machine won the Critics’ Choice title at this year’s Brit Awards.
To win, just answer the following question: What was the name of Blur’s debut album?
Send your answer, along with your name, address, email and telephone number on a postcard to: Blur Competition, Features, The Bolton News, Newspaper House, Churchgate, Bolton, BL1 1DE. Closing date is Thursday, June 11. Usual Newsquest rules apply. For more information visit theboltonnews.co.uk
