BOLTON Choral Union will present a well loved work by Rossini at their concert on Saturday.
The composer wrote the Mass, Petite Messe Solennelle, later in his life, and it makes an interesting contrast with his earlier operas.
The union will also be performing John Galea’s Missa Ignis Charitatis, which was written in 2003 in the Classical style.
The concert will take place at 7.30pm at St Andrew and St George’s United Reform Church, on St George’s Street.
Tickets cost £10/£9 concessions and are available from Sweetens Bookshop, Booths Music and the Town Hall Ticket Unit, by phone from 01204 492301 and on the door from 7pm.
