SINGER songwriter Badly Drawn Boy, aka Bolton’s Damon Gough, has announced a series of headline gigs for October — his first tour in three years.
He will play the Royal Northern College of Music, in Manchester, on Thursday, October 21.
Other dates include appearances in Scarborough, Holmfirth, Birmingham, Glasgow, Bristol and London.
Gough will also be releasing a new album, the first in a trilogy, titled “Pt. 1 - Photographing Snowflakes”, on October 4.
The album will be preceded by a single, Too Many Miracles, to be released on September 27.
The Mercury Prize-winning singer has been relatively quiet of late, having spent time penning the soundtrack to last year’s Caroline Aherne film The Fattest Man in Britain, which was released as the album Is There Nothing We Could Do?
Prior to that, his last studio album was released in 2006.
Tickets for the Manchester show cost £20 and go on sale at 9am on Friday ((JULY 30)). To book, visit gigsandtours.com or ring 0844 811 0051.
