JUST a handful of tickets are still available for The Get Up Kids’ festival warmup show in Bolton next Thursday at the Dog and Partridge.
The Get Up Kids formed in 1995 whilst at high school in Kansas, and have released five full albums and countless EPs and singles. Their influence can be seen in many of today’s bands, including Fall Out Boy, Scouting For Girls and Kids In Glass Houses.
Organiser Ivan Crompton said: “When asked who we would love to play at an Interkonnect night but never though would happen myself and Chelly both said The Get Up Kids. We have put on over 300 shows in Bolton, but this is the pinnacle, the best and the one we wanted the most. This band are simply amazing.”
Tickets cost £15 and are available from the venue, or by emailing ivan.crompton@live.co.uk.
