Powersound competition open to Bury musicians

AMATEUR bands and singers wishing to enter Bury's Powersound competition have until June 30 to submit their applications.
Organised by Bury Venues and Bury Youth Services, the competition is open to amateur bands aged 11 to 24 years and amateur singers aged 11 to 21 years.
Hopefuls must submit a demo recording on video, CD or tape and complete an application form which can be downloaded from www.bury.gov.uk Heats will take place throughout August and into September, and finalists will have the chance to win cash prizes.
Entries should be sent to Samantha Williams, Radcliffe Civic Suite, Thomas Street, Radcliffe.
