THE host of tonight's open mic session at the Blue Boar, on Deansgate, will be Ste Hutchinson from The Minions.
Ste also makes regular guest appearances with Bolton's 22-piece big band, The Managers.
The sessions started two weeks ago, replacing the now defunct open mic night at The Albion, and so far have featured performance poets and a harpist alongside more conventional musical acts.

The night starts at 9pm, everyone is welcome, and admission is free.
