BANDS hoping to apply to play at this year's Bolton Music Showcase have just under a week left to send in their submissions.
To be in with a chance of playing at the event on July 26, bands should download a form from the website, www.boltonmusicshowcase.org and follow the instructions.
Bands must play original material - no cover versions - and should be able to submit between three and five of their tracks along with the form.
They must also be able to play a 30 minute live set, although times may be cut to 20 minutes to allow more bands to play.
Completed forms should be posted to BMS Submissions, Don McColl, 154 Elgin St, Bolton BL1 3ND or emailed to play@boltonmusicshowcase.org.
Now in its fifth year, the Bolton Music Showcase has developed a reputation for featuring the very best of Bolton's musical talent.

The event will be opened by the winners of the Showcase Showdown 2008 and bands from this year's Rock-Ed scheme, followed by the very cream of the town's music scene.
