Ting Tings track for next iPod ad
The Ting Tings
The Ting Tings

IT has long ben considered a jump-offpoint for stardom, and now Salford band The Ting Tings will see one of their tracks feature in the latest iPod and iTunes advert.

The track, Shut Up And Let Me Go, is taken from the band's debut album, We Started Nothing, which will be released on May 19.

The advert is already being aired in the US, and will hit screens in 22 countries across the coming weeks.

Adverts for the MP3 player, which is made by Apple, have in the past featured songs by the likes of Feist, CSS and Brendan Benson.

The Ting Tings are going to be MONSTEROUSLY BIG in the USA thanks to Apple iPod & iTunes. My first iTunes purchase was for their "Shut Up..." cut. No wonder its GREAT Britain, great music!
