Madonna tells of studio antics

MADONNA has said that Kanye West and Pharell Williams, who collaborated on her new album Hard Candy, found her in-studio antics very funny.

"I had to get into their heads and their wavelength - let go a little bit," she said. "I'm so used to control and order.

"Pharrell would laugh at me when I would ask Kanye to repeat his rap because rappers don't write anything down."

Madonna asked hip-hop star Kanye to get involved with the album after she discovered he was recording in the same studio.

"Lucky for us Kanye was recording his album across the hall while we were making our record," she said.

"We were chanelling Marvin Gaye and different artists from the past."

The 49-year old star will headling Radio One's Big Weekend, in Maidstone, this weekend.
