GET ready to rock . . . the Bolton Music Showcase Rock School is now under way, but one band still needs a singer, a bassist and a drummer.
The Music Showcase is a yearly event to highlight the best on the town's local music scene.
As part of this year's showcase, young musicians have been given the opportunity to learn from professionals, and three bands will be taking to the stage at the main event at Leverhulme Park on Saturday, July 26.

The bands will also play at the Greater Manchester Youth Games in Manchester on July 12, providing, of course, that the third band can find the extra members they need.
The group, one of three formed on the course which held auditions last weekend, are looking for three recruits aged between 11 and 18 years old.
Councillor Ismail Ibrahim, executive member for culture and community services, said: "This is ideal for any young musician or vocalist who wants the chance to be part of a band and get professional rock musicians to teach them about playing, songwriting and performance."
The next session of the Rock School will take place next Saturday at DOA Studios, on Wordsworth Trading Estate in Halliwell.
Budding musicians can turn up to the session, which runs from 10am to noon, or ring the studio on 01204 844333.
