Haigh Hall Festival 2007
Metal band Strain thrilled a crowd of more than 7,000 people when they played at Haigh Hall on the weekend of June 16-17.
The Bolton band headlined the Haigh Music Festival, which is now in its fifth year.
Bassist Bill Halliwell says: "It was brilliant. We've done some dates down South, big gigs with big bands. But when we do that it's like we're playing to somebody else's band, whereas at Haigh we were the headliners and they were definitely our crowd."
