PAUL Cohen, Five Saints Amateur Theatre Company chairman, has spoken of his admiration for the musical director of the company's next production, Showstoppers.
James Eccleshare in in charge of the show, which features musical favourites, including numbers from West Side Story, Cabaret, Wicked, Billy Elliot, Rent, Me and My Girl and Half a Sixpence.
Paul said: "Having known James all his life, and having seen him come up through CATS Youth Theatre and then on to adult societies, it is a great pleasure for me to see him leading rehearsals and doing it so well.
"The entire company is bowled over by his approach and his professionalism. Rehearsals are a joy to attend and the singing, due to James's musical expertise, sounds amazing."
Showstoppers will be performed at the Phoenix Club, in Bark Street, from Thursday, April 17 to Saturday, April 19.
