Murder in the family at Victoria Hall

IT'S a family affair at Victoria Hall ADS' next performance, They Call It Murder.

The plot of the play centres around the Strange sisters, who are struggling to look after their ailing grandfather.

The cast will have no problem playing a close-knot family - as may of them are already related!

Emma Mellor, who plays one of the sisters, is the daughter of Linda Massey, who is playing the domestic.

Linda is married to Barry Massey, who plays the fiancee of the eldest sister, and Mr Fudge, the nurse, is played by John Shawcross - Emma's fiancee!

Anne heaton and Dawn Hargreaves play the other two Strange sisters, and Martyn Skipper takes on the role of the grandfather.

The show will run from Thursday, May 1 to Saturday May 3, at 7.15pm in the Lower Theatre of the Victoria Hall, Knowsley Street.

Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3 for children and senior citizens. For more information ring Anne on 0161 70.7570 or Linda on 01204 845493.
