Community invited to police talks

PEOPLE from Edgworth, Turton, Chapeltown and Entwistle can raise matters of concern at a police meeting.

The Police and Communities Together discussion is at Turton and Edgworth Primary School, Bolton Road, on June 3 at 7pm.

Police Community Support Officer Chris Williams said: "These meetings are for residents who have any issues regarding crime or anti-social behaviour in their neighbourhoods but we also give information and updates relevant to their community."

For more details about the meeting, call PCSO Williams on 01254 222135.

Exactly...what we want is real police...that the criminals would actually fear instead of taking the mickey....PCSO s dont work simple...and its been proven..nothing against the people but it does nt....real cops have powers and experience

What is the point of a meeting?.
Just answer the phone when it rings and act to avert crime.
Dead simple, don't make this more complicated than it is.
The labour party influence of spin and bureacracy stretches far and wide.

Don't forget we are talking about LANCASHIRE POLICE FORCE here and not GMP!!! as these areas come under the control of Blackburn with Darwen and not Bolton!

They're all the same anyway. Long gone are the days of real policing. God help our own kids when they grow up in the world we live in now...
