The historic Turton Fair is being revived this year by the Friends of Turton Tower.
The fair, which dates back to at least 1789, is being held at the tower on Spring Bank Holiday Monday.
Attractions include a dog show, maypole dancing, folk musicians, arts and crafts stalls and a fortune teller.
Visitors will also be able to see the crowning of the May King and Queen, as well as performances by the Palatine Fiddlers and Hoover brass band. Rossendale and Darwen MP Janet Anderson will open the event. The fair runs from 12pm to 5pm on Monday, May 26.
