RELUCTANT cooks will be enjoying an alternative Christmas dinner this year, according to Mr Nurul I Meah from the Royal Balti, in Farnworth.
He decided to offer a traditional Indian party meal for those who can't face the thought of basting the turkey and roasting the potatoes.
And the idea was obviously popular - the restaurant is already fully booked.

"Most of the people who have booked want to just have a quiet day with their family," he said. "Or they want a change, something different. Even though turkey is traditional, they want to try something else during the day.
"It is much less stressful too. It will be great, and we will be having it ourselves, too."
