BOLTON actor Andy Whyment is set to take part in a football match in aid of charity.
The star, who plays Kirk Sutherland in Coronation Street, is taking part in The Soapstar Football Challenge.
The home team includes celebrities from Channel 4's Hollyoaks including Chris Fountain (who plays Justin Burton), Ricky Whittle (Calvin Valentine), Jamie Lomas (Warren Fox) and Nick Pickard (Tony Hutchinson).
The away team includes Andy and his Coronation Street pal Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw), Emmerdale's Glenn Lamont (Richie Carter), and The Bill's Gary Lucy (Will Fletcher).
The match at Chester City FC on Saturday, May 24, will be followed by the glitzy Hollyoaks Charity Ball in aid of Alder Hey's Imagine Appeal and Claire House Children's Hospice.
Tickets for The Soapstar Football Challenge cost £5 each and are available from Chester Tourist Information Centre, Town Hall, Northgate Street, and Chester Racecourse, or call the ticket hotline on 01244 304610.
