Shakespeare goes on show in park production

SAY Two Productions will take their version of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream to Pennington Park, in Leigh, on June 20.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream follows four lovers as they escape the city walls into the woods where anything goes.
Suddenly caught up in a colossal argument between the King and Queen of the Fairies, all hell breaks loose as a lovers tiff becomes a full on fight, and Bottom the weaver makes an ass of himself.
Ideal for all ages, this high octane production is full of fun and fantasy, with stunning costumes and spectacular sword fights.
A free interactive director talk precedes the performance.
The show starts at 6.45pm.
