RICHARD Hawley, former Pulp bassist and gravel voiced co-singer on Elbow’s spooky tune The Fix has announced that he will be touring the UK this October.

He will play Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall on October 2.

A new single For Your Lover Give Some Time, will be released on August 10 and the album, Truelove’s Gutter, on September 21.

Richard said: “I think this is a fairly honest and slightly wry look at lovers, as time goes by, especially long term relationships.

“It’s a warning not to take things for granted — now and again you should buy a bunch of flowers randomly. Don’t let the calendar push your buttons.

“Don’t buy flowers just on Valentine’s Day. It’s just being honest about the way love changes.”
