THERE cannot be many better productions on at the moment than Flashdance, The Musical.
Based on the 1980s hit movie, The Palace Theatre's latest show is something all of the family will enjoy.
It's a real feelgood show, with the storyline following a young Alex Owens, a steelworker by day, as she battles to make it into a top dance academy.
Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, who plays Owen, is supremely talented and the jewell in the show's crown.
Full of funny quips and one-liners, the show's choreography is excellent and the stage props all add to an excellent show.
There are also quality performances from former Coronation Street actor Bruno Langley (Jimmy Kaminsky), ex-Hearsay chart topper Noel Sullivan (Nick Hurley) and Ruthie Stephens (Gloria).
It really is a must-see performance.
Go on, take your passion and make it happen!
Tickets are available for the show, which runs until Saturday evening, by phoning the Box Office on 0844 847 2275
