THE popular outdoor Shakespeare by Dean Taylor Productions will return to Turton Tower from tomorrow with one of the bard’s best comedies, Twelfth Night.
The play is full of romance and wit as identities are muddled, hearts played with and stuffy stewards tricked and tormented. A cast of 11 professional actors, including Jade Parker and Robert Taylor as the twins Viola and Sebastian, will take to the stage in costumes provided by the Royal Shakespeare Company. Dean Taylor, who will be playing the role of the pompous Malvolio, said: “Twelfth Night has everything, it is my favourite of Shakespeare’s comedies.”
The show, which is now in its sixth week, will be at Turton Tower tomorrow and Saturday at 2pm and 7pm, and on Sunday at 2pm.
Tickets cost £22 adults, £16 concessions.
