Ballet — The British lingerie label has been chosen to supply all the underwear to the new theatre production of the Calendar Girls story, which features some the UK’s best known actresses including Lynda Bellingham, Gaynor Faye, Sian Phillips, Patricia Hodge and Elaine C. Smith.
Most of the garments were taken straight from Ballet’s autumn/winter collection, although there are also a couple of special ‘nude’ sets created to preserve the modesty of the actresses at pivotal points in the story! The production is now on a nationwide tour of major UK cities.
The company, based in Colne, is also celebrating its 60th birthday this year and created a special limited edition set for their autumn/winter collection. Indulgence features a gorgeous ivory embroidery, diamante crystals and lavish organza bows.
