Barbie, believe it or not, is 50 years old this year - i know, she doesn't look it.
And, to celebrate over 50 American designers created their interpretation of a Barbie doll outfit and showed it at the fashion show during the New York Fashion Week on Valentine’s Day.
From Nanette Lepore, Nicole Miller, Marchesa, Michael Kors, Kenneth Cole, Diane Von Furstenberg to Betsey Johnson and many others showed how they viewed the clothes of the "global fashion icon" with their eyes.
Fun and completely over the top - it takes away some of the gloom the credit crunch has thrust upon this year's show.
