HE has been dubbed as 'one to watch' and his forthcoming track is already on its way to being one of the biggest dance anthems of the year.

Helped by endorsements from the likes of BBC Radio One's Annie Mac who gave his debut release, House Every Weekend, a World Première last year, David Zowie's next stop is right here in Bolton.

The producer and DJ, who hails from Chatham in Kent, has opened up about his craft and his excitement ahead of his visit Bolton on Sunday.

He joins headliners Gorgon City and Hannah Wants to the Premier Suite at Bolton Wanderers' iconic Macron Stadium.

Talking of his career highlights, David said: "To be honest the best is yet to come as I have some crazy events lined up for the summer. I am particularly looking forward to visiting Bolton on 3rd May — it's going to be epic.

"I am more than honoured to play with the headliners as they represent the depth of how far UK dance music has come — especially from an underground standpoint to global mainstream as Gorgan City has shown and proven."

The musician's love of mixing started at a tender age and has a number of artists he classes as influences.

He said: "Since the age of 12 is when I started to identify the concept of music production and received my first pair of SL12 10 Technics Twin DJ Decks.

"My favourite producer list stems from Quincy Jones to Pharrell Williams to name a few but if we are talking dance music, my list starts from Old Skool early '90s Inner City and more — there's hundreds so I couldn't possibly stop at the mention of one or two."

His track House Every Weekend is poised to be the biggest dance track of the year.

David said: "The reaction has been phenomenal. People have been supporting me like crazy posting up dancing footage and everyday lifestyle events on social media that they feel relates to the lyrics in the song, which is such an amazing thing to see happen organically.

"It started off as a warm up track floating around the various clubs and events last year such as Egg, Defected and Audio Rehab, then it got picked up by The Magician and Alex Metric who absolutely hammered it on both their USA tours. This brought it to the attention of Pete Tong and Annie Mac on their Radio One shows — the rest is pretty much history from that point on."

David Zowie's House Every Weekend is out now on Beatport and released May 31.
