A FREE cinema will be popping up in Crompton Place next week showing a whole host of family favourite films, along with a range of fun and games.

From Tuesday, April 18 until Friday 21 April, the fun will start at 11am and run until 5pm each day with films being shown at 11.30am and 2.30pm in a unit that has been transformed to give the full cinema experience, complete with movie posters, big screen and seating.

The free fun and games will all be themed on the film being shown that day with activity ranging from temporary tribal tattoos and a Tiki mask trail on Tuesday to celebrate the showing of Oscar-nominated Moana, through to animal-themed face painting for The Secret Life of Pets.

Crompton Place Centre Manager, Paula Wood, said: “We can’t wait to welcome families from across the region to our special screen.

“We’ll be showing four films that are set to go down a treat, with a whole host of film-themed activity also taking place during the four fun-filled days.

“Moana, Finding Dory, The Secret Life of Pets and Trolls will all be screened.”
