AN award-winning company specialising in outdoor shows will return to Heaton Park with a famous magical tale.

Feelgood last appeared in the popular Prestwich venue eight years ago.

Next month the company returns with Shakespeare’s romantic comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Heaton Park and Hall will become the backdrop for the tale of magic and intrigue in this ‘promenade’ performance.

Blending the past and the present, the Egerton family, who lived in the hall from 1772 to 1902, will also make a spirited ‘appearance’ in a few of the leading roles.

Music accompanying the production will include everything from Handel to Oasis, as the cast sing, dance and act their way around the park before heading inside the hall for the grand finale.

The show runs from July 20 to August 6, no performances on July 23, 24 and 31.

Tickets are on sale at www.jumblebee.co.uk/amidsummernightsdream, or can be purchased from Heaton Stables café.
