A FORMER star of X Factor is releasing his first song on the world tomorrow.

Christian Burrows propelled himself into the nation’s televisions and hearts when he appeared in the ITV talent show last year.

Now the song which reduced the Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger to tears has become his debut single.

Two Again is created in memory of his little brother who died from cot death.

The 20-year-old from Tonge Moor said: “So many people told me they wanted to hear it again as a single.

“My mum was with me when we got the final recording done. That made it more special and helped to get the emotion across. She is my biggest fan.

“I just hope everyone likes it.”

Christian is a former pupil of Thornleigh Salesian College and was taught to sing by his mother Nichola Burrows, herself a former singer.

He stunned television audiences back in August when he performed the song, then named Thunder Buddy, in front of X Factor Judges.

His emotional tribute to his little brother helped him through to the next round.

From there he continued to impress and made it to judges houses, where he performed How to Save a Life by The Fray and I Won’t Let Go by Rascal Flatts for mentor Nicole Scherzinger.

Sadly he was left in tears as his journey came to an end when Nicole told him she could not take him through to the live shows.

Looking back on the experience, he explained: “If anything it made me want it more. It was a big opportunity and it gave me the drive to start my career straight away.

“I’ve had a chance to record my music and it’s been onwards and upwards since then.

“The fans have been amazing . It’s incredible, anywhere I go I always have people recognising me and coming up to say hello.”

Only two weeks after leaving the show, Christian was in a London recording his music.

He also joined fellow X Factor alumni Ben Haenow on tour for three weeks across the UK and Ireland.

He quit his job as a barman at Level Nightclub and made his main focus perfecting the record ready for tomorrow.

He added: “The tour gave me a taste of what its like and since then I have been working really hard and hope to be doing my our tour at the end of the year – but I can’t say much about that now! I was very lucky to get into Metropolis studios which are one of the best in Europe.

“I wanted to get the track right and it’s taken a long time. It’s been a year since the show, but I wanted to get the song perfect before releasing it.

“Every chance I get I come home to see my mum and dad, though not as often as I used to because we’ve been so busy.

“This is definitely my full-time occupation, there’s no going back!”

Two Again is available to download tomorrow.
