THE game is on for Sherlock fans in Bury and Bolton as the final episode of the TV series is to be screened in the cinema at the same time as it’s broadcast on the BBC.

Fans won’t need detective skills to find a screening of the episode, as local participating cinemas, The Light and Vue in Bolton and Vue Bury The Rock, are showing the conclusion.

After the explosive closing moments of last Sunday’s episode, television audience will be queuing up to see the hero on the big screen.

Attendees will be treated to exclusive content, including a backwards look at one of the series major characters as the BBC’s hit drama wraps up its fourth series.

Though deerstalkers are optional, it will be necessary to book in advance as the screening is likely to prove popular.
