THIS band of brave explorers are pictured about to set off on the yellow brick road in search of stage success.
Back in March 1992, St Anne’s Youth Theatre Group brought a well-known story with a twist to Bolton.
The cast were taking on the production of the Wizard of Oz - The Panto.
Starring the well-known faces of Dorothy, the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion and even Toto there were some added extras - including Aunt Em and Harry Trotter - as well as music and singing trees!
Pictured here are St Anne’s lead stars - Janet Simpson as Dorothy with her Toto, Lion, Louise Dowle; Scarecrow, Kellie Murray; Aunt Em, Elaine Powell and Tin Man, Kate Forster.
The show hit the stage at the Barlow Institute in Edgworth.
