SONGS to warm the heart and musicals to singalong to will be lifting the rafters in Horwich.
On November 11 New Rosemere is performing at Horwich Parish Church in a Remembrance Day concert.
To honour the occasion, audiences be singing along to wartime classics such as Pack up Your Troubles, ‘It’s a Long Way to Tipperary, White Cliffs of Dover and We’ll Meet Again.
In true New Rosemere style, members will also be exploring the magic of the musicals with samples of the Gilbert and Sullivan numbers including Pirates of Penzance, Mikado and The Gondoliers, as well as music from the likes of Mamma Mia, The Sound of Music, Wicked, Oklahoma, Spamalot, My Fair Lady, Jekyll and Hyde, The Music Man and South Pacific.
