THE much loved musical My Fair Lady delighted audiences in Bolton when it was performed by Bolton Catholic Musical and Choral Society back in 1978.

It was shown at the Great Hall in the former Bolton Technical College this week, with audiences enjoying songs Wouldn't It Be Loverly and The Rain in Spain.

Margaret Banks took on the role of cockney flower seller Eliza Doolittle, made by famous by the late Hollywood great Audrey Hepburn and Michael Rimmer played Henry Higgins, who believed he could make her presentable in the high society of Edwardian London.
