WILLIAM Shakespeare’s furiously funny tale of mistaken identity The Comedy Of Errors continues the current Spring Summer 2010 season at Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre from Wednesday March 31 to Saturday May 8.
Guest Director Roxana Silbert — former Artistic Director of Paines Plough and currently Associate Director for the Royal Shakespeare Company — takes the helm for this production.
The play tells the story of two sets of identical twins – both master and servant - accidentally separated at birth.
When they both arrive by chance in Ephesus, chaos ensues, leading to wrongful beatings, a near-seduction, an arrest and accusations of infidelity, theft, madness and demonic possession.
Tickets cost £8.50 to £29.50. To book, visit royalexchange.co.uk or ring 0161 833 9833.
