A CAST of talented singers will take audiences on a journey of Christmas old and new this December.
Voices & Lyrics — created by Harwood singer and actor James Edgington — will return to the Octagon Theatre, Bolton, on December 10 and 11 following a sell-out studio debut in March.
The festive version will include Katie Elin-Salt, from Sky 1's Stella, Harriet Waters, from ITV's from Scott & Bailey and Mr Edgington as host, who will also perform as Father and Son with dad Graham.
They will sing Christmas favourites including White Christmas, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and Santa Baby, as well as music from hit soundtracks Sunset Boulevard, A Chorus Line and Frozen, alongside songs from a new generation of musical theatre writers.
Mr Edgington, aged 31, came up with the idea after noticing a lack of cabaret-style musical theatre nights in the area.
He said: "This will be a great night for North West-based performers, getting a chance to sing some of the best new music written for actors working in musical theatre today."
