1. Enjoy rap, reggae and poetry at Westhoughton Library. Rap poet and cultural reggae artist Donavan Christopher, aka Rappaman, will be there between 10.30am to 3.30pm on Saturday in celebration of Thursday's World Book Day.

2. Spend Saturday night rocking to the sounds of Def Leppard (pictured below). Tribute band Dep Leppard will be at Moses Gate Hotel, Farnworth, from 8pm – the band even has a lead singer from Sheffield.

3. Three-piece indie rock band Telling Twins Apart will be at the Blue Boar, Deansgate, on Saturday night.  The group will headline the night of music with support act Into The Blue performing from 7.30pm. Free entry.
