2. Alex Brierley (Yiyan) performing at Bolton Market Place, Saturday, 11.30am and 1.30pm

Catch the front man of local rising stars Yiyan perform a set of songs including Place of Nowhere, which was written to support the relief effort of the charity in Syria. The band hit the headlines when they found a refugee hiden in their car in Calais following a visit to the 'Jungle' camp to give aid.

3. John Wheeler (Hayseed Dixie), The Met, Bury, Friday from 8pm

Hayseed Dixie frontman and songwriter, John Wheeler, brings you the 'No Covers Solo Show'. Though it isn't really a solo show because he'll have other people playing on stage with him too.

5. The Libertines, Manchester Arena, Saturday, from 7.30pm

The Libertines will perform at Manchester Arena for the first time as part of their forthcoming seven date UK arena tour.
