A HOST of spook-tastic fun awaits you in Bolton and beyond this Halloween. 

From a ghost train ride for all the family to a club night with a chart-topping drum & bass duo, there's bound to be something for everyone to enjoy. 

Spooky time at Smithills open Farm
Saturday and Sunday, 11am until 3pm 
There will be arts and crafts, spooky hunts, fancy dress competitions and face painting.

Halloween Spooktacular, Crompton Place Shopping Centre, Bolton
Saturday, noon until 4pm 
Children from across Bolton are invited to Crompton Place for some very special, spooky Halloween-themed activity, all hosted by Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme (BYPHS). Youngsters will be able to get creative and design their very own scary mask with a special prize going to the best one. 

Halloween Spooktacular at Bolton Markets
Saturday, 11am until 4pm 
Children can meet curious critters, enjoy free face painting and blood curdling cupcake making.

Spooky Stories and Halloween Lanterns, Westhoughton Library
Saturday, 10am 
Listen to some spooky tales and create your own lantern to take home. Ages four to 11, free. 

Hallowe’en Walk
Saturday, starting at the Chetham Arms Pub, High Street, Bolton, 5pm until 9pm 
There will be face painting from 5pm at the Chetham Arms before meeting from 6pm at the rear of the pub to set off for the walk through Turton Tower woods at 6.30pm, Be sure to wear your scariest outfits. Call 01204 853597 for tickets.

Blind Tiger, Nelson Square 
Saturday and Sunday 
On Saturday, Blind Tiger will play host to a circus-themed freak show, live cover band Black Jack Casino and fire performances by Monster Cirque. People wearing circus-themed Halloween fancy dress will get free entry and there will be Halloween spiced cocktails and trick or treat games.
On Sunday, there will be a Halloween horror movie night. 

Halloween Ghost Trains, East Lancashire Railway 
Saturday and Monday, 5.3pm until 8.30pm 
Roll up, roll up for the ride of your life on the East Lancashire Railway's Halloween Ghost Trains. The spooky circus is steaming into town and families can hop on board at Bury Station. Pre-booking only, visit eastlancsrailway.org.uk.

Bass Jam the Zombie Apocalypse, Premier Suite, Macron Stadium 
Saturday, 9pm until 5am 
3,500 clubbers will descend on the Macron Stadium for a night of the deathliest drum & bass, bass house, grime & garage. Heading up the spooktacular line up will be chart-topping duo, Sigma, for an exclusive DJ set.
