A BOLTON cinema is hosting a special event to mark the launch of a new documentary about rock and blues figurehead Eric Clapton.
The Light Cinema Bolton is one of a select group of picture houses across the UK and Ireland to premier the film on January 10, ahead of its release two days later.
Told in Clapton’s own words, Life in 12 Bars journeys into the life and music of the icon, stretching from his traumatic childhood and through his battle with drugs and the loss of his son.
The event will start with a live introduction from the London’s BFI Southbank, before the film itself.
There will then be a live Q&A session with Clapton and the documentary’s director, when attendees can interact with the pair via twitter.
Tickets, include a complimentary drink, are avaailable from the cinema or https://bolton.lightcinemas.co.uk/
