PLANES, trains and automobiles!
On Sunday the largest model show in the north of England will be held at the Macron stadium.
Visitors will be treated to work by some of the country’s leading modellers and will also be able to buy the latest releases from some of the country’s best-known traders.
The theme of the event is ‘Print, Film and TV’ and on display will be model aircrafts, ships, cars and armour in a variety of scales and sizes, including a large scale model of Star Wars’ Millennium Falcon and a 1/6 scale Tiger tank.
The show has been organised by the Bolton branch of the International Plastic Modellers Society and clubs and traders are coming from as far afield as Bognor Regis and Edinburgh.
The show will be open from 10am-4pm.
There is free parking on site and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
Admission for adults is £4, £3 for senior citizens, and £2 for children. A family ticket can be purchased for £10.
