A MAN arrested following a serious road accident has denied dangerous driving.
Mohammed Bhatti, 31, of St Helens Road, appeared at Bolton Crown Court yesterday where he pleaded not guilty to causing serious injury to John McCafferty by driving dangerously on Bradford Street on November 27.
He pleaded guilty to attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Bhatti is charged alongside two other people and all three are due to go on trial on May 22.
At an earlier hearing Nicholas Thomas Montgomery, aged 27, of Musgrave Road, Bolton, pleaded not guilty to causing injury by dangerous driving.

All the charges relate to an accident involving 53-year-old Mr McCafferty, who was crossing Bradford Street on Saturday, November 26 when one of two vehicles, both Audis, collided with him, causing serious injuries.
