AN ELDERLY man was found guilty of careless driving in a car park.
Terrence Leman, aged 74 and of Winterton Close in Westhoughton, was found guilty at Bolton Magistrates' Court of driving a car on November 14 last year in the car park off Captain Lees Road.
He was found not guilty of failing to stop at the scene and failing to report the accident as soon as was reasonably possible to the police.
He was fined £200 for the careless driving and ordered to pay £620 in costs and a £30 surcharge.
He was also handed five points on his licence.
