FILM-lovers will be able to watch an array of classic Christmas films from the comfort of their own car when a drive-in cinema comes to Bolton.

Festive favourites including a Wonderful Life and Elf will be shown over six days at the Macron Stadium in December.

Audio for each film will transmitted directly through vehicles’ FM radios during the Moonlight Drive-in screenings between December 11-17.

Moonlight Cinema is an outdoor cinema experience that has a singular permanent location in Kent, but is visiting Bolton for a special seasonal outing.

Moonlight Cinema’s founder, Benjamin Stonehouse, said: “We are really excited to be heading to Bolton this Christmas.

“We’ve got some fantastic films to screen and we’re looking forward to working with the Macron Stadium.”

Tickets are available for £26 per vehicle for each film, regardless of how many people are in the car.
