A HOLLYWOOD blockbuster starring a former Canon Slade pupil picked up an award at Sunday night’s BAFTAs.
War epic Dunkirk stars 22-year-old Tom Glynn-Carney and was nominated in eight categories, including best film.
The film’s sound team of Alex Gibson, Richard King, Gregg Landaker, Gary A. Rizzo and Mark Weingarten scooped the gong for best sound.
There could be more success to come with the film also nominated for eight Academy Awards.
The awards ceremony will take place Sunday, March 4.
