A CAR had a brick put through its window and was set on fire.
Firefighters were called to Sharnford Close, the Haulgh, at around 2.45am this morning.
They found an Audi Q7 well alight and tackled the flames.
A brick had been put through the window of the car and petrol was then used to start the fire.
The car was not completely burnt out but was described as a write off.
Fire crews were at the scene for around 40 minutes.
Police attended the scene and are investigating the arson.
