KEEN cooks are being sought to take part in Channel 4's hit show Come Dine With Me — which is making a return to Bolton.

Researchers from the popular show will be filming episodes in the area from April 16 and April to April 20.

And the producers are keen to find eager fans of one of the country's most popular shows who can 'whip up a food frenzy and host a dinner party like no other'.

The contestants would be in with a chance of winning £1,000.

Jamie Bryce, casting researcher for Come Dine With Me, said the team was looking forward to returning to the Bolton area and to see what the cooks would come up with.

He said: "Following the success of previous episodes in the Bolton and Manchester area we are back looking for new contestants.

"We are looking for keen cooks with great hosting skills, bags of energy, and who are up for the challenge of winning a £1,000."

Anyone who is interested in applying to take part in the show must be 18 or over and must be available to for when the filming takes place in April.

Applicants must not have worked or have been working as a chef and they can not be trained.

To apply to take part in the show, send an email to cdwm@shiver.tv and include names, ages, contact details and postcodes.

The programme was first broadcast in January 2005 and each episode shows four or five amateur chefs competing against each other hosting a dinner party for the other contestants.

The participant who gets the highest score from their dinner guests wins the £1,000 prize.
