A MAN from Bolton has been charged with grievous bodily harm and other offences after two police officers were assaulted.
The two officers were following a vehicle that failed to stop for them in Hardcastle Avenue, Chorlton on Thursday at about 10.30am.
The vehicle came to a stop in Shackley Close and the two officers were assaulted.
Kevin Brown, aged 45, of Fern Road, Bolton has been charged with grievous bodily harm, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
He has been remanded to appear at Manchester City Magistrates' Court today.
