FIREFIGHTERS were called to help a woman who got her hand stuck in a letterbox.
The 22-year-old was trying to pass some keys through the letterbox of a house in Union Road, Tonge Moor, at around 2.30am on Saturday morning.
But once she had let go of the keys, she realised her hand was stuck. Her friends called the fire service who took the letterbox off the door.
Once it was off, they were able to release her hand.
A spokesman for the fire service said the woman was not injured but was slightly embarrassed.
